Trials Riders' TestimonialsHere are just a few of the many testimonials we've collected from our customers. If you'd like to add to our collection, or have a suggestion on how we can improve our services, we'd love to hear from you. Nick & Briony Hosford, ( UK)
We both had an amazing time with you guys; it was a really good way to appreciate the beautiful scenery combined with some of the best trials terrain I have ever ridden; you really do have a fantastic variety of sections. Nick O gave Briony some really good beginners tuition on day one and took me on a spectacular tour of the area on day two with some really good advice on how to tackle some of the trickier sections we rode and I felt my riding improved as a result It was also good to have a proper go on a four stroke machine, I was really surprised by the performance of the Scorpa 125f, and I am currently looking at trading my gasgas pro for a Montesa 4Rt. Briony had a great time as well and we both agreed that Nelson was one of our favourite parts of New Zealand. We currently plan to come back in 2012 and spend longer in Nelson and will hopefully combine our exploring with several days of trials.
Thanks again Masayuki Yoshikawa (Japan)
Written by Masayuki Yoshikawa I met Nick and Peter Oliver at the 2008 Idemitsu Ihatove Trial and promised them I would go to New Zealand. After deciding on a trip to Auckland at the end of last year, I quickly looked up the Olivers' contact details on their website and got in touch with them by e-mail and phone to get their go-ahead. Since I was almost a total stranger to them, I really appreciated the warm welcome they gave me, with Nick and his father Stephen coming to meet me at the airport. After taking me back to their place for a spell, we set off with the bikes in the trailer. Have you ever looked at a beautiful landscape and thought, "it would be fun to ride there"? I'll bet you have. New Zealand is that kind of ideal spot for riding motorbikes. Paddocks spread out in front of you with beautiful streams flowing through them, big trees provide shade here and there, and sheep munch the grass. High hills stretch out beyond, and the valleys offer a huge variety of terrain, from big rocks to mud. It really is a riders' paradise, and a moderate climate means it can be enjoyed all year round. Don't miss the chance to go to New Zealand! Tabitha & Rebecca Bond (Thailand)
Tabitha & Rebecca Bond are your modern day adventure-seekers, experiencing the thrills that life has to offer.
Three days of riding became four as the girls sacrificed a shopping day for extra riding. "We were impressed with Stephen's ability to judge our skill level and tailor the training to get the most from us despite our reservations. We felt very confident in his ability to keep us safe and return home unscathed, but at the same time gaining the best from the opportunities presented to us. We look forward to visiting NonStop in the future". Yoshikazu & Tomoko Hirata - the Perfect Honeymoon
Yoshikazu and Tomoko Hirata of Japan recently found the ideal way to spend their honeymoon: an 18-day trip to New Zealand that included a 3-day Trial Tour with NonStop Adventure. With a total of seven bikes at home, the Hiratas are keen motorcyclists. Yoshikazu spent many years racing road bikes and the pair first met at an enduro event. Over the last couple of years they have taken up trials as a way of further honing their off-road skills. Guided by coach Stephen Oliver and translator David Atwool, the tour offered the chance to explore a vast new property each day and practice riding skills in a variety of spectacular landscapes. Perfect summer weather helped to make the trip a truly memorable experience for all the riders.
