Posted by: Manzawa on April 16 Thanks to translator David Atwool (on far right in photo), the three visitors could share their know-how about holding the Ihatove trial without any language barriers, and could also fully savour what a wonderful place New Zealand is. Thanks so much, David-san. Many thanks also to Nick and Peter for preparing the bikes and riding around with the guys. We are looking forward to seeing you again this summer in Iwate! Extra special thanks to Deborah for letting her husband and sons abandon their work and happily sending them off to play. Thanks also to everyone at TV Iwate, who arranged the flights, and everyone at Idemitsu, who provided the budget for expenses, this NZ visit was a big success! During the visit Stephen talked about the desire for a tri-nations championship between NZ, Australia and Japan. MNZ is talking to FIM about this. Beyond all expectations, this may be achievable in the near future.
In any case, there is no doubt that the power of the Idemitsu Ihatove Trial/NonStop Adventure team is opening up a bright future for trials in both countries. There's lots to look forward to.
